Date Night

"An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels." (Proverbs 31:10)

After hiking a little over 100 miles in 4 days, my body was feeling it. So I decided to rest today before starting the next leg of my journey. It was nice to have a date night with my wife. I am so thankful for the support of my family, and the love and sacrifice of my wife. She is truly a gift from the Lord, and I am blessed everyday because of her. After dinner we went and bought a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts to bring home to share with James, our son. I said that I needed to carb up for my walk tomorrow, so that I could justify it. Tomorrow morning I will head out early to continue westward. Thank you all for your continued prayers.
