God used CAS to bring us Aeryn Lydia in 2006. She is truly a miracle from God, and we are so honored to call her our daughter. We can’t even remember what life was like without her! Words cannot describe the joy we feel every time this little wonder calls us “Mommy” and “Daddy.” For you see, without the beauty of adoption we would not be her parents today. Adoption has meant the world to our family. Before adopting Aeryn, we were parents without a child. We had a child-shaped hole in our hearts, and God used CAS to help us fill it with our baby girl. We are so grateful to CAS for the wonderful job they do in bringing children and parents together. And we also have so much gratitude, admiration, and respect for Aeryn’s birthmom. She gave us a treasure that’s so precious, entrusting us with her child. It’s a priceless gift we can never repay. She’ll always be Aeryn’s birth mother, and we’ll always be grateful to her for what she did for us. We can’t even begin to imagine how difficult the decision to choose adoption was for her, but we do know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she loves Aeryn very, very, much. And we do our best to make sure that Aeryn knows that too. We are so thankful for our beautiful little girl. We love her dearly, and are truly blessed to have her as a part of our family.

A true blessing from God, He knows your child from the beginning, no matter how long the adoption process takes. If I didn’t have to consider the cost or my age I would definitely adopt again. Jim & Doris truly love helping children find their forever home, but most importantly they seek the Lord’s direction each step of the way, what a blessing that is to the families.
