    Christian Adoption Services, Inc. is extremely pleased to announce that we have been formally notified by the Council on Accreditation (COA) that the agency has received its accreditation necessary to continue to provide international adoption services under the Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption. The Hague Convention takes effect on April 1, 2008 and only those U.S. agencies that are accredited may place children from countries that have ratified the Hague Convention.

    Christian Adoption Services believes in the power of partnership. As a member of the Christian Alliance for Orphans, CAS is a part of the Faces of the Forgotten Google Earth project, an initiative to highlight the global orphan crisis and what the Body of Christ is doing about it.     Brittany’s Hope Foundation is a non-profit foundation dedicated to aiding abandoned children around the world. We work with our affiliated adoption agencies to place child-specific grants on unmatched special needs children who wait for their forever families. We also develop and implement humanitarian projects that benefit impoverished orphanages by providing safe cribs, clean water, food, education, immunizations, and medical interventions.

With a mission to advocate on behalf of children in need of permanent, safe and loving families, Joint Council promotes ethical child welfare practices, strengthens professional standards and educates adoptive families, social service professionals and government representatives throughout the world.

    The goal of the Christian Alliance for Orphans (Alliance) is to inform, educate and engage churches and individuals in orphan and adoption ministry. As an alliance of Christian ministries, this unified effort is being undertaken to reach the broader Christian community about the needs of orphans and the opportunity for adoption, foster care and orphan ministry worldwide. The Alliance is coordinating resources and efforts to expand orphan ministry in the Christian community.

Founded in 1979, ECFA provides accreditation to leading Christian nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with established standards for financial accountability, fund-raising and board governance.
